Kidz Book Hub brings together character-filled books and practical learning resources to help children discover the pleasure of reading.
Our collection combines humour, adventure and old-school charm with opportunities to explore new words, ideas and experiences. We have a particular interest in reaching children who haven’t yet found their enthusiasm for books - helping them discover characters they connect with and stories they want to keep reading.
With printed books to keep and digital flipbooks to explore, families can choose the way of reading that suits them. Our companion teachers’ notes and activities take the stories further, offering starting points for discussion, comprehension, creative writing and learning about the world.
For teachers and homeschooling parents, that means support for turning a good story into a worthwhile learning experience. For children, it means room to laugh, ask questions, use their imagination and discover what happens next.

Company Overview
Kidz Book Hub is an Australian children’s reading and learning platform from Springhill Publishing, under Wellington (Aust) Pty Ltd, and incorporating Black Hills Publishing Pty Ltd.
We bring together experience in educational publishing, children’s storytelling, classic illustration and digital design, with a shared purpose: helping more children enjoy books and the learning they make possible.
At its heart is publisher and author Bob Andersen, whose career began in English teaching before moving into educational publishing. His background spans children’s literature, publishing and the development of online literacy programs for school students. He is also a co-creator of Clancy of the Outback, bringing his storytelling experience to adventures that introduce young readers to Australian country life.
Our collection features work by established children’s authors and illustrators, including contributors with extensive experience visiting schools, running workshops and encouraging young readers and writers. Their stories bring humour, personality and an understanding of what captures children’s interest.
Alongside that publishing foundation, our team brings skills together to make books and companion resources easier for families and educators to discover, access and use. Wellington’s publishing experience also reaches beyond Australia, with titles such as Toocool distributed worldwide and relationships with organisations such as Scholastic in several countries.
Kidz Book Hub is a re-engaged chapter in that work: connecting engaging stories with useful learning support, in print and online.
